John Zincken specializes in employment law and general corporate and commercial litigation, with a special focus on ICT related matters.
John has extensive experience in fulfilling the employment law needs of employers, executives, expats and legal and medical professionals:
day-to-day employment law advice and litigation from hiring to firing and everything in between and thereafter, cross-border employment issues, reorganisations, disputes with Unions and Works Councils and employment aspects of M&A, as well as advice on other forms of professional relationships.
After graduating from the University of Amsterdam in 1992, he started working as an employment lawyer at the Amsterdam Regional Employment Department (nowadays known as the Employment Legal Services department of UWV). Admitted to the Amsterdam Bar in 1995, he joined the lawfirm Lexence where he became partner in 2001, leading the employment law department. In 2005 he started a boutique firm with Jan van Schouten.
John completed the specialization course employment law at Grotius Academy in 2000. He is an active member of:

• the Amsterdam Employment Lawyers Association
• the European Employment Lawyers Association
• the Association Corporate Litigation.
