Jan van Schouten was admitted to the Amsterdam Bar in 1992. He specializes in employment law and corporate and commercial law and litigation.
Jan has extensive experience in individual employment law, disputes regarding restrictive covenants, restructuring and the overlap between employment law and corporate law. His special area of interest is sports law.
Jan assists mid-sized to multinational businesses as well as managing directors and executives. Amongst others he represents clients with which he has had a very pleasant business relationship for years.
In 2005 he started a boutique firm with John Zincken.
Jan van Schouten is an active member of the Amsterdam Employment Lawyers Association and the European Employment Lawyers Association (EELA).
